Privacy policy
How Full Set Property Pty Ltd handles personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. Who we are
This policy applies to Full Set Property Pty Ltd (ABN 54 703 636 926, ACN 703 636 926), a company registered in Victoria, Australia ("we", "us", "our"), and to this website, fullsetpropertytec.site. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. What personal information we collect
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries and deliver our services. This may include:
- your name and email address;
- the address or suburb of a property you ask us to work on;
- details of the work required, access arrangements and timing;
- contact details of people you nominate, such as a tenant or agent, for access purposes;
- any other information you choose to include in your correspondence with us.
We do not ask for sensitive information, as defined in the Privacy Act, and ask that you do not send it to us. You may deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym where that is practicable, although we usually need contact details to respond to a property enquiry.
3. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you email us, use the enquiry form on our contact page (which opens an email in your own mail app), or otherwise correspond with us. Sometimes we receive information from a third party, such as a property manager or agent acting for an owner. Where we do, we take reasonable steps to make sure the person concerned is aware of this policy.
4. How we use it
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide quotes;
- arrange, carry out and follow up on the services you request, including arranging access with tradespeople;
- keep records of work completed;
- manage invoicing and our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
We do not use your information for direct marketing without your consent, and we do not sell personal information.
5. Disclosure to others
We disclose personal information only where needed to deliver our services or where required by law. This may include tradespeople and suppliers engaged on your job, the owner, property manager or agent connected with the property, our professional advisers, and providers of email and website hosting services. We require those parties to handle the information only for the purpose it was provided.
6. Overseas disclosure
Our website and email services are provided by third-party technology providers, which may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps under APP 8 to ensure those providers handle personal information in a way consistent with the APPs.
7. Cookies and website data
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not use tracking tools. Our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use that information to identify you.
8. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, for example tax record-keeping requirements. After that, we securely delete or de-identify it.
9. Access and correction
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Email ceo@fullsetpropertytec.site. We will respond within a reasonable period, usually 30 days. If we refuse a request, we will explain why in writing, as the APPs require.
10. Complaints
If you believe we have breached the APPs, please contact us first at ceo@fullsetpropertytec.site with details of your concern. We will investigate and respond in writing within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
